Dan Le Batard on why America hates LeBron

The Miami Herald columnist and ESPN host Dan Le Batard joined the show to talk about the Heat-Thunder series.

Le Batard talked about why people still dislike LeBron James. “The greatest crime is perceived arrogance,” Le Batard said. “You can be a felon and not have the problems with popularity that comes with perceived arrogance.”

But Le Batard said America also loves a winner: “If he wins three more games, than America stops laughing at him and it will happen just like that.”

Le Batard tried to describe why people are interested in the Heat.”I think the best thing for the NBA was the Heat losing last year,”Le Batard said, because people will keep watching.

Le Batard weighed in on a potential Thunder-Heat rivalry for years to come. He pointed out neither team is really set up perfectly. He said the Thunder have just an overwhelming amount of talent, but don’t fit the right way.
