Kevin Millar says Dodgers need to be creative to trade for hitting, weighs in on steroids era
MLB Network analyst Kevin Millar joined the show to talk about the big stories in baseball as we approach the All-Star Game.
Millar said the Dodgers need to get hitting before the trade deadline, but they’re going to have to be creative. He said they should forget about Carlos Lee, because he immediately balked, and once a guy shows hesitance, he’s not worth it.
“With this double wild-card situation,” Millar said, “a lot of teams think they’re still in it and they’re not a lot of sellers.
Dan and Millar were talking about the Home Run Derby. Millar thinks it’s ridiculous to think that the derby can mess up your swing.
Millar also weighed in on the Hall of Fame and steroids. Millar said your numbers are numbers. He thinks those guys should be enshrined in Cooperstown.
