Danica Patrick talks about labels, Nationwide competition
Race car driver Danica Patrick joined the show to talk about her season and more.
Patrick explained her comments that she thinks female athletes shouldn’t just be referred to as “sexy.” She likes a wide range of adjectives, like “determined” or “pretty.”
Patrick also commented on her crew chief saying Nationwide drivers are sort of ganging up on her. Patrick said that’s not exactly the case. Patrick said that there are lots of dirty tricks that drivers use. “It’s all part of the process,” Patrick said. “I don’t think it has anything to do with being a girl or anything like that.”
Patrick said that she does expect to win soon on the Nationwide tour.
