Andrew Luck talks about throwing pick-six, rookie hazing, Matt Barkley

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck joined the show to talk about his preseason and more.

Luck talked about throwing a pick-six against the Steelers. “I tried to own up to my mistake,” Luck said. “Make sure people know it was my fault and no one else’s.” Then Luck said he had to get ready to get back on the field pretty quickly.

Luck also talked about his running touchdown, which was controversial, because he appeared to start his slide outside the end zone.

”That was a terrible slide,” Luck said. “I’m glad they called that a touchdown.”

Dan asked Luck if he’s been hazed. “Besides having to sing Country Roads by John Denver, not too much.”

Dan asked what advice he would have for USC quarterback Matt Barkley. Luck said don’t assume it will be easy just because you’re going back to the college ranks. “Realize it gets harder,” Luck said. “There’s a misconception that when you come back it gets easier. Don’t think people will just lay down for you,” Luck said.
