Michigan’s Brady Hoke previews Notre Dame game, comments on coaching lifestyle

Michigan coach Brady Hoke joined the show to talk about the upcoming game against Notre Dame.

Hoke talked about the work ethic you need to coach. He said he works 16-18 hour days, but he tries to encourage assistants to spend some time with their families. Hoke said he missed too much of his daughter’s early life because of work.

Dan asked Hoke if he’s surprised by the success of the Harbaugh family. He said no, not at all. He’s close with them and said the mother of the family knows more than the men about football.

Hoke commented on their upcoming Notre Dame game. He said the Irish’s front seven is as good as any they’ll face.

Dan asked about Greg Schiano trying to disrupt the victory formation. He said that there’s a line you can cross and doesn’t agree with that call.
