Adam Greenberg talks about coming back to the Majors seven years after his first at-bat
Adam Greenberg joined the show to talk about getting another Major League at-bat after he was hit in the head in his first at-bat in 2005 against the Cubs and was never the same.
Greenberg said this began with a campaign started by a fan who saw what happened and wanted him to get an at-bat.
Dan asked what he remembers from the 2005 hit. “I was scared to death,” Greenberg said. “I grasped my head like I was holding it together.”
Greenberg said that he hopes that this reinvigorates his career and gets him back to the Majors full time.
Greenberg said there are no health risks. “I’m 100 percent healthy,” Greenberg said.
“This is not a baseball at-bat to me,” Greenberg said. “It’s really to help motivate people and show that anything is possible.”
