Urban Meyer weighs in on Braxton Miller, Tim Tebow and Alex Smith
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer joined the show to talk about his season and more.
Dan asked how good his quarterback Braxton Miller is. “He’s ridiculous,” Meyer said. “He’s a very talented player. … He does things I’ve never seen athletes do. I’ve had two — Percy Harvin and Braxton Miller.”
Meyer compared Miller and Tim Tebow. Meyer noted that Tebow had incredible players all around him.
Meyere said he’s talked to Tebow recently and the Jets QB is keeping everything positive. Meyer said that Tebow told him he loves the coaching staff and thinks that he’ll get a chance when he gets a chance.
Meyer also commented on another former QB of his — Alex Smith. Meyer said Smith is better now in large part because the defense is so much better.
