Tony Dungy breaks down wild Week 6, Cowboys’ mental errors

NBC NFL analyst Tony Dungy joined the show to talk about a wild Week 6 in the NFL.

Dungy said that the Cowboys once again were guilty of poor clock management. Dungy said head coach Jason Garrett didn’t have his team ready and failed to call a timeout early enough with the seconds clicking off.

Dungy was very impressed with the Giants’ win over the 49ers. “That was a demolition,” Dungy said, noting how dangerous the Giants are.

Dungy also weighed in on the Packers’ win over the Texans. He thinks Houston made a mistake thinking it could play bump-and-run with the Packers receivers. And he thinks the Texans miss the energy of Brian Cushing.

Dungy discussed how tough it is to play in Seattle. He said the noise is a big problem — like it was for his team in Indy. He said the offense can’t call plays and run their team effectively.
