Ray Rice expects Ray Lewis to return, puts together his perfect running back
Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice joined the show to talk about his season and more.
Dan asked Rice if he thinks Ray Lewis will come back this season. “I’m looking forward to seeing him later this year,” Rice said. “I know Ray and I know how hard he works. … He always feels like he has to be at war with us. He’s never had a problem getting back in shape, so that’s the least of our concern.”
Dan asked his opinion of his opponent this week, Texans RB Arian Foster. “I like to say his patience is at another level,” Rice said. “He takes the yards that are there and doesn’t try to force anything.”
Dan asked Rice to design his perfect back. Here’s what Rice put together: “I’d take Arian Foster’s patience. I’d take Maurice Jones-Drew’s power. I’d take Chris Johnson’s speed. And I’d keep my set of hands.”
Rice also weighed in on Terrell Suggs’ efforts to get back on the field. “He looked really good in practice,” Rice said. “He’s worked very hard, not only for himself, but to get back healthy for his team.”
Rice told a very funny story of pretending to be related to Jerry Rice when he was a kid.
