Mike Trout discusses AL MVP race, living at home in offseason
Angels outfielder Mike Trout joined the show to talk about his incredible rookie season. He’s actually out fishing with his buddies.
Trout explained that he lives with his parents in the offseason. He said it’s pretty cool — “No curfew,” Trout said. “Live in the basement. Got everything I need.”
Trout said he would vote for himself for MVP over Triple Crown winner Miguel Cabrera. Dan asked him to convince him. “For me, taking home runs away and [keeping] people from taking that extra base or scoring is just as important as [scoring runs].”
