Brian Billick has issue with Thursday night games; says Cam Newton needs to mature

FOX’s Brian Billick joined the show to talk about the big storylines in the NFL.

Billick has serious problems with the Thursday Night games. “I don’t like it all from a competitive standpoint,” Billick said. He said the road team has no time to prepare and he thinks it’s unfair they put so many divisional games on Thursday.

Billick weighed in on Cam Newton. Dan asked him what he would say to the Panthers quarterback. “Talk less, listen more,” Billick said. “He’s making about him. He’ll learn that’s not the way you go about it.”

Billick said that quarterbacks can make their life easier in how they deal with the press. Billick said that good quarterbacks play the game to make things easier.

Dan asked Billick about a Real Sports special on gay athletes and how they would fit in a locker room. “On a certain level it would be a difficult locker room to deal with,” Billick said.
