Ben Roethlisberger talks about having a baby during season, play-calling in Pittsburgh
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger joined the show to talk about his season, having a baby soon and more.
Roethlisberger said this season new offensive coordinator Todd Haley is calling more of the plays and he’s doing a little less, but he says it’s week to week.
Roethlisberger, and Ohio native, said if he went to Ohio State, the Buckeyes wanted to move him to tight end. He said if that happened, he may not be in the NFL now.
Roethlisberger talked about the pain of playing on a week-to-week basis. He said often he’s fine on Monday, and then he really feels it on Tuesday.
Dan asked if he feels any pressure to play when his wife is delivering a baby in the coming weeks. Big Ben has already said he’s going to be by his wife’s side.
“None,” Roethlisberger said. “There’s no question what I’m going to do.”
