Collin Klein talks about personal nature of SI cover story, not throwing the ball to his brother

Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein joined the show to talk about the recent SI feature on him and the rest of the season.

Dan asked him about some of the personal stuff in the story, like not kissing a girl until he was married.

“I don’t want people to view me that way,” Klein said. “I don’t want to put myslef on that pedastal. I’m so far from perfect. Just ask my wife.”

Klein said that the NFL is important in the sense he wants to be the best he can be. So he thinks he’ll play there some day.

Dan gave Klein a hard time because his brother is a receiver on the team and he hasn’t caught a ball yet. Klein said he’s working on it.

Dan asked if he’d rather throw a touchdown or run in one. “At the end of the day,” Klein said. “I am a quarterback. I love throwing the ball.”

Dan asked Klein about the concussion he suffered. Klein said that it’s team policy that he can’t discuss it.
