Archie Manning: Bill O'Brien did best job this year, Peyton having fun playing football

Archie Manning joined the show to talk about big stories in pro and college football.

Manning is in New York for the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year award. He said his coach of the year is likely Penn State’s Bill O’Brien. He said he lost good players and still found a way to win.

Dan asked Archie about Peyton’s MVP chances. “He’s pretty happy,” Manning said. “He’s happy playing football. He loves his new group of teammates.”

Archie talked about all the talented young quarterbacks. “It seems like there’s more good passers out there,” Manning said. “It’s not fair to some of the old quarterbacks’ records because they’re throwing the ball so much more.”
