Clay Travis runs down list of who didn't take Tennessee job
Outkickthecoverage.com’s (and 104.5 in Nashville host) Clay Travis joined the show to talk about how Tennsessee landed with Butch Jones as its head coach.
Travis said Jon Gruden could have had the job. Then Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy, who picked them up at the airport. And then Louisville’s Charlie Strong. Travis said they were shocked Strong turned them down. And now Louisville should feel very comfortable Strong will stay because there aren’t many better jobs than Tennessee.
Travis talked about where the Vols job fits in among SEC jobs, and it’s good, but there are several premiere spots in that conference.
