Michael Irvin on Jason Garrett, Tony Romo and Peyton Manning's legacy

NFL Network’s Michael Irvin joined the show to talk about the coaching vacancies around the League and more.

Irvin weighed in on the Cowboys’ situation. He said that they need a new play-caller like Norv Turner to help Garrett. He said Garrett and the coaching staff really needs to focus as the game goes on.

Irvin also had interesting comments on Tony Romo. He said that Romo got to where he is with his physical skill. Quarterbacks without that skill develop their brains and vision and that’s why Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are the best.

Irvin also weighed in on Peyton Manning. “He needs the Super Bowl like a baby needs milk to make sure his legacy is solidified,” Irvin said.

Irvin talked about Tim Tebow as well. He said the Jets gave Tebow a raw deal and really weren’t fair by not giving him a shot.

Irvin said the most attractive open position for coaches is Chicago. He said they were 10-6 and have talent. But he said you have to some person skills to deal with players like Brandon Marshall. Irvin said Philly is a tougher spot than Chicago because that fan base won’t give you much rope.
