Pat Forde on title game, coaching carousel

Yahoo’s Pat Forde joined the show to talk about the upcoming BCS title game and more.

Forde said he’s picking Notre Dame to win. But he did say Alabama has an edge at QB with A.J. McCarron.

Forde also weighed in on the possibility that the NFL will come calling for Nick Saban and Brian Kelly.

“I think they’d both be idiots if they left,” Forde said. “Don’t leave for an opportunity to get fired in three years.”

Forde said the same thing for Oregon coach Chip Kelly. “If you have a good job in college, it’s better than an iffy job in the pros,” Forde said.

Forde did say that Chip Kelly flirting with the NFL may hurt him on the recruiting trail.
