Clay Matthews talks about how to defend Colin Kaepernick

Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews joined the show to talk about his season and the Super Bowl.

Dan asked what happened against Colin Kaepernick and the Niners in the the Packers’ playoff loss. “We figured with a young quarterback, we’re going to make him sit in the pocket,” Matthews said. “He sat back there and made the plays he needed to. … [Then] he broke free for a couple of big runs.

But Matthews said the Ravens have had two weeks and should be able to figure out something to stop Kaepernick’s “antics.”

Matthews did talk about player safety. “You just keep coming back because it’s what you’ve done since you were a kid,” Matthews said. “I’d like to think I’d be smart in the future, but probably not.”

Matthews talked about his personal life. “I haven’t found a good woman in Green Bay, Wisc.,” Matthews said.
