Urban Meyer said getting recruit like ‘winning a game’
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer joined the show to talk about signing day.
Dan asked what it feels like getting a big recruit. “It’s a little bit like winning a game,” Meyer said. “Especially when it’s a kid you really, really know.”
Meyer talked about geography. He said that the Buckeyes aren’t afraid to go into Michigan. Meyer won’t actually use the word “Michigan.” He said the numbers are bit down in Ohio because of population changes, but he loves getting kids from the state because they’re usually well-coached.
Meyer talked about potential new recruiting rules. He said that he is opposed to coaches being able to go into juniors’ homes.
