Charles Barkley says Dwight Howard should have ‘told Kobe Bryant to shut up’

TNT NBA analyst Charles Barkley joined the show to talk about the big stories around the Association.

Barkley weighed in on Dwight Howard’s season in Los Angeles: “This year he’s disappointed me. … I’ve always thought he was a franchise player. I’m starting to wonder now. The one thing you have to be as a franchise player is tough. You don’t get to whine and complain. You just have to take it. This is the first year I’ve seen a kink in Superman’s [armor].”

Barkley thinks that Howard should have approached his reported conflict with Kobe Bryant. “He should have already told Kobe Bryant to shut the Hell up by now,” Barkley said.
