Charles Barkley weighs in on Dwight Howard, Clippers, DeAndre Jordan dunk
TNT analyst Charles Barkley joined the show to talk about the big stories around the NBA.
Barkley weighed in on Dwight Howard and his future. “He’s a great kid,” Barkley said, “but he’s been very annoying over the last couple of years.”
Barkley talked about DeAndre Jordan’s dunk over Brandon Knight. “It’s no big deal,” Barkley said. “Everyone gets dunked on. … After you get dunked on the first five or six times it’s no big deal.
Barkley also had strong comments on the Los Angeles Clippers. “I don’t think they have a good team at all,” Barkley said. “I think they’re great for the ESPN generation to make highlights. But I don’t think they’re mentally tough enough.”
Barkley thinks the Lakers are probably more dangerous than the Clips. But he doesn’t think the Lakers could win more than a series in the postseason.
