Kevin Love on his health, contract and Ricky Rubio
Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love joined the show to talk about his situation and Minnesota and more.
Love talked about criticism from former GM David Kahn that he sat out too long with his injury last year. He said that sitting was a coach he reached with coach Rick Adelman and the team and the criticism doesn’t bother him.
Dan asked Love if it bothered him that the Timberwolves didn’t give him a max contract. Love said he understood and it least it helped them re-sign some of their other good young players.
Dan asked Love about where Ricky Rubio ranks among the NBA’s point guards. “If he continues to develop his jump shot, then he’s gonna be just that much better,” Love said.
