J.J. Watt talks about removing his brace, video of jumping and playing offense
Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt joined the show to talk about the upcoming season and more.
Dan asked Watt’s today’s poll question – who would you start a team with. Watt said he’d lean toward Adrian Peterson or Calvin Johnson. Since he’s a defensive lineman, he said Peterson causes more problems for him.
Dan asked him the best offensive lineman. He said Texans offensive tackle Duane Brown. He said from other teams, the Saints line when he was a rookie was impressive, with Jahri Evans and Carl Nicks.
Watt admitted he doesn’t like the elbow brace because he wants to show off his guns.
Watt talked about the video of his 59 ½ inch vertical. He said it was a “little offseason reminder” of how hard he works. Watt said at the Combine he had a 37-inch vertical.
Watt talked about the possibility of him playing offense. He said he doesn’t think it will happen. But he’s been lobbying for it since he got to the Texans.
