Marshall Faulk on Von Miller’s mysterious suspension; Peterson chasing records
NFL Network analyst Marshall Faulk joined the show to talk about the big storylines around the camp.
Faulk said he’s not sure why Von Miller got a six-game suspension. “I have no idea,” Faulk said. “I have no idea what it is.”
Faulk weighed in on Adrian Peterson telling Dan yesterday that he thinks he can break Emmit Smith’s all-time record. Faulk said that’s great and says maybe he can do that and rush for 2,500 yards in a season.
Faulk had an interesting observation on throwing-running ratios. He said that back in the day you couldn’t pass too much because a defensive guy would take out the QB. But now the rules protect the QBs so there’s no fear in dropping back all the time.
