Michael Irvin weighs in on Johnny Manziel; says Vick has one last chance; Cowboys need to run
NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin joined the show to talk about the NCAA and Johnny Manziel, Michael Vick’s “last go-round” in Philadelphia and why the Cowboys need to change their offensive philosophy to make the playoffs this year.
Irvin right now is confused by Vick’s style of plays o far: “Vick must have a processing problem here with this issue. Why wouldn’t Vick use the protection given to him or do a slide so he can’t take the hit. Instead I read that he’s up to 220 pounds and wants to rush for over one thousand yards.
Irvin also had some interesting comments on his Super Bowl pick: “If the Cowboys keep a healthy running game I believe they have a shot at that run. But they have to keep a healthy run game.”
