not sure money will be effective to help solve concussion problem

FOX college football analyst Eddie George joined the show to talk about the NFL’s settlement with retired players and the big storylines in college football.

George, a four-time Pro Bowler with the Tennessee Titans, said he didn’t join the lawsuit because he isn’t sure what the money will do. He said that money may not be truly effective in the big picture.

“I don’t see a win for the players,” George said. “It’s not about the money. It’s about the research.”

George also commented on Jadeveon Clowney’s disappointing season-opener. George said that it was 98 degrees … of course he was gassed.

“Give the kid a break,” George said. “He did not have a bad game.”

Dan asked George if he’d want Alabama or the field. He said Alabama – he noted how special running back T.J. Yeldon was.
