Former OSU QB Josh Fields denies allegations in Sports Illustrated
Former Oklahoma State quarterback Josh Fields joined the show to talk about the Sports Illustrated
Dan asked if the accusations that he took money and was involved in academic fraud were true. “Nothing is true,” Fields said.
Fields said SI got over 60 players because over the course of the years several people in the program probably got upset one way or another.
“I never heard of anyone,” Fields said. “That’s not to say it’s not going on. I would have thought I would have been one of the ones offered or at least known about it. … I would have thought that someone would have made an offer to me and that did not happen.”
Dan asked if Fields would sue. “Discussions have come up with my agent,” Fields said.
But Dan asked if he thinks with all this smoke, is there fire. “I would hope that SI would not come up with a five-part series based on all hearsay,” Fields said.
