Marcus Mariota has advice for players about Chip Kelly

Oregon Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota joined the show to talk about his season and more.
— Mariota explained why he chose Oregon. “For me, it was the best fit,” Mariota said. “I come from a small island. This community of Eugene is small and reminded me of home.”
— Mariota said he thought he was going to be teammates with Johnny Manziel at Oregon, but Manziel left for Texas A&M.
— Mariota said he and other players could use more money — for different reasons. “If I had a little more money,” Mariota said. “I could go home a little more often.
— Dan asked Mariota what advice he’d give a defensive player facing Chip Kelly. “Maybe get in shape,” Mariota said. “He’s not going to slow down any time soon.”
— Mariota said he’s a pretty chill guy and doesn’t freak out if he sees a blitz. He might just go up to a lineman and say “dude, he’s coming.”
