Howie Long: Ndamukong Suh’s ability overlooked because of controversy
FOX NFL analyst Howie Long joined the show to talk about the big stories around the League and more.
Dan asked Long about Ndamukong Suh and whether defensive players can play with anger.
“You can play with anger,” Long said. At the end I started running out of reasons to be angry. … That being said I never did anything that was me trying to light someone up and hurt them.”
Long said that Suh is a dominant player and that’s getting lost because of the controversy. Long pointed out he’s a great finisher when he gets to the quarterback … sometimes he uses too much power in that situation.
Long said that he thinks Roger Goodell is both concerned about player safety and worried about litigation.
