Jeff McLane thinks Chip Kelly will get his QB in next year’s Draft

Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane (@Jeff_McLane)  joined the show to talk about the Eagles’ loss to the Chiefs last night.

McLane weighed in on Michael Vick’s performance. “He played well the first two games,” McLane said. “But he took a step back last night. That’s what we’re going to see the rest of the seasosn. We’re going to have moments where he is good and there will be moments where he is inconsistent.”

McLane thinks that coach Chip Kelly will get his quarterback in next year’s Draft. He said Kelly talks about his Oregon QB Marcus Mariota in press conferences. And he thinks he’ll like UCLA’s Brett Hundley.

McLane also weighed in on Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb’s legacy. He said McNabb struggling when he went to Washington may have proved Reid was the main reason they thrived for so long.
