Rodney Harrison shares an NFL secret; weighs in on RGIII, Aldon Smith

NBC NFL analyst Rodney Harrison joined the show to talk about Week 3 in the NFL and more. Here are some of his takes:

— Harrison admitted he didn’t have time to run to the bathroom during his playing days. “You pee in your pants,” Harrison said. “You try to hydrate. You don’t have time to run into the locker room and come back so you just pee.

— Harrison said the Giants have to take responsibility for their problems, but think they can be dangerous moving forward.

— Harrison said the blame for the Steelers’ woes should go to one man. “They need to fire [offensive coordinator]Todd Haley,” Harrison said. “[Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger] looks like he’s afraid to play.”

— Harrison thinks Robert Griffin III is starting to look more like himself. He said players want to get hit after an injury to make sure they can do it. He thinks RGIII will get better.

— Harrison thinks 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh missed a teaching opportunity by not benching Aldon Smith after his alleged DUI: “What’s more important? Getting this kid some help or letting him play. The kid needs help. He has a drinking problem.”
