Peter King explains why Rob Gronkowski helped Pats beat Saints
TheMMQB.com editor-in-chief Peter King joined the show about the big storylines around the NFL.
King said that New England tight end Rob Gronkowski didn’t play but actually contributed by playing on the scout team: “Brady sent me an email overnight and said basically the same thing Troy Aikman said, Gronkowski was fantastic on the scout team playing Jimmy Graham.”
King weighed in on the potential of the Redskins changing their name. “Dan Snyder is so dug in, it’s going to take a while,” King said. King thinks that it’s going to be a big “political football.”
King talked about the problems with the Houston Texans. King said that their meltdown shows you the value of a good quarterback.
King also weighed in on potential trades. He said that the Giants might as well deal Hakeem Nicks.
