Tony Siragusa: Players should stand up to harassment

FOX NFL analyst Tony Siragusa joined the show to talk about reports that Richie Incognito harassed teammate Jonathan Martin.

Siragusa said the situation is more complex then some people are portraying it: “Do I think Richie Incognito is 100- percent wrong? Aabsolutely. But I don’t think that people understand what an NFL locker room is like.”

Siragusa said players are “grown men” and people should stand up for themselves. He said NFL players should be able to defend themselves. “They defend themselves every day,” Siragusa said. “They defend their job. They defend their team. Every day.”

Goose said he’s been through a lot in locker rooms: “I’ve gotten fist fights in the media and it’s never gotten to the media and the next day we’re hugging and saying let’s go play.”

Siragusa reiterated that Martin should have stood up to Incognito. “We’re talking about words here,” Siragusa said. “Go and stand up and tell him what you think.”
