Julius Thomas impersonates Peyton Manning’s calls at the line
Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas joined the show to talk about his breakout season and much more. He impersonates Peyton Manning’s audible and brags about his hoops game. Here are some of Thomas’ lines:
On Peyton Manning audibiling: “People don’t know how much pressure that is. You’re getting your mind right for the play. Peyton is screaming.”
On what would happen if you don’t hear Peyton: “You gotta ask him to tell you again. There are a lot of teams you don’t hear him. You gotta ask him again. Sometimes I gotta run over there. And then you gotta go tell it to outside guys.”
On his basketball career at Portland State: “I was a master at the head fake. I’m 6-5 playing power forward. No one had a better shot fake then me.”
On perceptions the Broncos can’t play in the cold:
It makes me laugh. We don’t have an indoor practice facility. I think we’ll be more acclimated to the cold then people expect.
