Dirk Nowitzki talks shooting, retirement, Arnold impressions

Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki joined the show to talk about his season and more.

Here are some nuggets from the interview:

— Dan asked how much longer he wants to play. “Probably sign on two or three more years,” Nowitzki said. “As long as it’s still fun.”

— Nowitzki talked about trying to adjust to the NBA early on. “That whole first year was surreal,” Nowitzki said. “It took me most of the season getting used to the guys I looked up to.”

— He thinks he could hit 95 out of 100 free throws if he went outside to shoot right now.

— Nowitzki said that if he was in a shooting contest, you want to put him on the wing … that’s where he has the most issues.

— Craziest guys he ever played for were Dennis Rodman and Vernon Maxwell.

— Nowitzki did a great Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation.
