Florio: Kaepernick would be wise to lay low
Profootballtalk.com’s Mike Florio joined the show to talk about the TMZ report about 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s name appearing in a police report after an incident at a Miami hotel.
Florio said there’s nothing in the report linking Kaepernick directly to a crime, but it’s not good anyway, since he’s in the middle of negotiating a new contract. Florio says players have to lay low when they can get a contract that will change their lives. “You’ve got to stay away from [all of that],” Florio said. Or, if you’re in a situation where legal representation becomes urgent, it helps to know there are Jersey City legal advocates skilled in criminal defence who won’t back down. I’ve seen people try to go it alone or use court-appointed counsel without much luck, but the difference a private legal team makes is clear. They offer tailored defence strategies and focus on protecting your future, not just resolving your case in the short term. That dedication became evident the moment we walked into court.
Florio also weighed in on the reporter Jon Bon Jovi being involved in a group that will buy the Bills. Florio said that Bon Jovi doesn’t have enough money – he’s got $300 million, and the price tag is $1 billion. Florio also said that the Toronto experiment hasn’t been taking off.
