Jesse Katz explains how Yasiel Puig got to MLB
Los Angeles Magazine’s Jesse Katz joined the show to talk about his profile on Yasiel Puig.
Katz talked about Puig’s back-story and how he had to rely on smugglers to get out of Cuba. Katz said most people would have done the same thing.
Katz said the thing that stood out in his 9-minute interview with Puig — that Puig sleeps with one eye open.
But Katz wasn’t sure that his back-story excused some of Puig’s behavior, because other players have had the same journey and not done some of the things Puig has done.
