Tim Kawakami on Aldon Smith, Colin Kaepernick
San Jose Mercury News’ Tim Kawakami joined the show to talk about the issues facing the 49ers this offseason. Kawakami weighed in on the future of Aldon Smith and said a lot depends on his next court date at the end of April and the Niners don’t seem to be decided on what to do yet. Kawakami also weighed in on Colin Kaepernick’s offseason. He said the Niners wanted to give him a $100 million contract earlier this offseason, but they may now wait. But Kawakami said it seems there isn’t much to the police report that mentioned Kaepernick in Floriday. And Kawakami weighed in on Mark Jackson’s future in Golden State. He said it does seem like he’s coaching for job and maybe there’s a personality conflict.
