Peter King: Pat Tillman doesn’t belong in Hall of Fame

The MMQB.com’s Peter King joined guest host Chris Mannix to discuss the NFL Draft.

King talked about Pat Tillman’s Hall of Fame chances. King said he doubts that Tillman will get in. He said that they generally don’t elect guys because of off-field achievements. He said that if you’re going to go with Tillman, than what about the other 25 players who died for their country. “It’s gotta be the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” King said. “It can’t be the Hall of Fame for wonderful people.”

King also talked about Jadeveon Clowney. He said that you can’t totally discount the low sack total last season. It shouldn’t be the whole story, but it should be part of the story.

King weighed in on Teddy Bridgewater. He said that he’s the QB who has fluctuated the most. He said Bridgewater disappointed with his Pro Day. But Johnny Manziel really helped himself with his Pro Day by improving his footwork.
