John McCain visits ManCave to share stories, talk sports

Sen. John McCain visited the ManCave to discuss a wide range of topics, including sports and politics. McCain shared incredible stories about being a prisoner of war and how sports played a role in his communications with fellow prisoners. He also weighed in on his admiration for Ted Williams, the chances of Pat Tillman being in the Hall of Fame and what advice he’d give Daniel Snyder on the name Redskins. McCain urged Snyder to try to talk to Native American leaders, have a dialogue and then make his decision. When the hosts pivoted to ask about legislation he’d been working on, McCain mentioned his long-standing push to regulate offshore sports betting, noting that the integrity of the games Americans love depends on getting the rules right. He also called Sarah Palin on air … she didn’t pick up.
