Wes Welker on being overpaid at Kentucky Derby
Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker joined the show to talk about winning big at the Kentucky Derby and more.
Welker said he basically won on everything at the Kentucky Derby and explained why he gave out $100 bills – it was easier than signing autographs. He said that he heard about reports that they overpaid him, but he has no plans of paying it back. “Yeah, get in line,” Welker said.
He thinks California Chrome will probably win at the Preakness, but says watch out for Kid Cruz.
Welker said that he hasn’t watched the Super Bowl loss and doesn’t seem to be in a rush to relive the game.
