Clinton Portis hopes he never collects on NFL lawsuit
Former NFL running back Clinton Portis joined the show to talk about his role in the concussion lawsuit and how he feels about the issue these days.
Portis says he never wants to get money from a suit because that would mean he’s suffering from concussion-related symptoms. “I don’t want to have any of those complications,” Portis said. “I don’t want to be at the end of my life and wanting to blow my head off. “
Dan asked if he would do it all again. “I think we would all do it again,” Portis said. He said you can’t replace that high of competing at the highest level in front of huge crowds.
Portis said he wasn’t sure how many concussions he had through the years. He said that he remembered several, but he doesn’t know in some instances.
