Lee Jenkins on how he got LeBron James story
Sports Illustrated’s Lee Jenkins joined the show to talk about co-writing LeBron James’ essay announcing he was going to the Cavaliers.
Jenkins said that he’s interviewed LeBron often and this was no different: “I interviewed him like I always interviewed him. He was in a hotel, very relaxed.”
Jenkins said that he thinks this wasn’t just a PR move. Jenkins said that James is very emotionally invested in Cleveland.
Jenkins thinks the only way the Miami Heat could have kept LeBron is by winning last year’s title. Jenkins said that his odds to win a title would have been better in Miami.
