Sam Farmer explains how L.A. could get team

Los Angeles Times’ Sam Farmer joined the show to talk about the possibility the NFL will have a team in Los Angeles. Farmer floated a few ways that the NFL could get this done … including selling PSLs for future Super Bowls in L.A. to raise money. He also explained how the NFL would control this and sell things like naming rights and then host the Pro Bowl and Draft.

Farmer explained that there are reasons a team or two teams may not work in Los Angeles. He said three teams have failed there. Farmer also explained that people in L.A. are already accustomed to watching on TV and fantasty football has really hurt watching games live in the stadium.

Farmer said there have been so many false starts, but “the iron has never been hotter.”
