Tony Dungy shares his views on Adrian Peterson
NBC NFL analyst Tony Dungy joined the show to talk about Week 2 in the NFL and to share is opinion on charges against Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. Dungy said that he believes it remains to be seen whether what Peterson did was abuse and Dungy noted that he grew up with that kind of discipline in his home.
Dungy talked about second chances. “We want out heroes to be perfect,” Dungy said. “But theyre not perfect. None of us are. …. To say guys make a mistake and they should never play again …. thats not always the case. …. It is individual. The coach and organization have to have a gut feeling [on a player].”
