Colt McCoy talks about his emotions after beating Cowboys

Washington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy joined the show to talk about leading his team to an overtime win over the Cowboys on Monday night.

McCoy admitted he was a little rusty or tight to start the game and it was loud, so he had to go to the silent count. But he said that he was seeing the defense and their coverages by the fourth quarter.

McCoy described why he was emotional after the game. “I’ve had some ups and downs in my career,” McCoy said. “To be in a place I feel comfortable where my teammates and coaches believe in me … it’s a [great feeling].”

McCoy addressed the awkward high-five with coach Jay Gruden. “I didn’t know if it was a high-five or a hug,” McCoy said.
