Jesse Palmer on inconsistencies in selection process

ESPN’s Jesse Palmer joined the show to talk about the college football playoff selection committee game. Palmer noted inconsistencies between the conferences are an issue — he thinks all teams should play nine conference games.

“It’s a beauty contest,” Palmer said. “Everyone has their own criteria.”

Palmer also talked about how great working with Brent Musburger is. “He’s such a fan of sports,” Palmer said. “He’s got his finger on the pulse of college football. You could put on college volleyball for 15 minutes and he’d take interest.”
