NBC’s Lazarus explains why NHL players should lose beards
NBC Sports chairman Mark Lazarus joined the show to explain his remarks on beards that caused quite a stir yesterday.
Lazarus explained why he thought that getting rid of the beards would help. “[It could] bring in more casual fans who would understand the likability these player have,” Lazarus said.
But Lazarus said that he wasn’t pushing for any kind of new rules. “This is an observation,” Lazarus said. “I made no demands.”
