Jordan Spieth on where he keeps Open trophy, Dustin Johnson, vacation policy

Jordan Spieth joined the show to talk about his U.S. Open victory and what’s next in his incredible young career.

Spieth said that he has the trophy at home … “I had it next to the jacket yesterday, which is kind of cool,” Spieth said.

Spieth talked about Dustin Johnson’s reaction after the tournament on Sunday. “Dustin was a class act,” Spieth said.

Spieth explained why the 18th hole was a problem. When they moved it up to make it a par-4 the landing area was too small. He said it worked as a par-five.

Spieth addresses his temper on the course: “Everybody has a temper … it’s frustrating. Especially when you’re playing the U.S. Open.”

Spieth also informed us he doesn’t play golf on vacation. He’s going on one soon and won’t bring his clubs.
