Greg Olsen weighs in on Cam Newton, Panthers great D
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen joined the show to talk about their 8-0 start and more.
Dan asked Olsen to describe Cam Newton in one word. “Lively … maybe vibrant,” Olsen said. He said he’s a kid trapped in an adult body. But he can’t understand why anyone would criticize that because Cam is great to be around and he’s consistent.
Olsen talked about how hard it is to go against linebackers like Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis in training camp and how it makes the offense better because those guys are so good.
Olsen also commented on Broncos CB Aqib Talib poking a player in the eye: “The more you watch it, the harder it is to rationalize he didn’t do it on purpose. If he didn’t mean to do that, that was some bad luck.”
